Frequently asked questions

What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol is one of more than a hundred cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis. Unlike THC, another well-known cannabinoid, CBD is non-psychoactive.

What is Full Spectrum CBD?

Full Spectrum CBD (hemp oil) means that an oil or product contains all the cannabinoids, compounds, minerals, fiber, flavonoids, and terpenes that are found in the whole cannabis plant in nature, rather than just CBD (cannabidiol). Unlike isolated or synthetic cannabinoids, full spectrum hemp oil holds nothing back and contains all cannabinoids (there are over 100 different cannabinoids). When the combination of multiple compounds in their natural state are used, it is referred to as the “entourage effect”, as it is theorized that the many components within the cannabis plant interact with the human body to produce a combined influence than any one of those components alone.

What is Broad Spectrum CBD?

The term broad spectrum refers to CBD oil products that contain a combination of cannabinoids, terpenes and other beneficial compounds found in hemp. While many CBD oil products are made using CBD isolate, broad spectrum oils maintain concentrations of the beneficial compounds that are found in the original hemp plant. Our broad spectrum CBD oil products contain no detectable THC.

What is a Tincture?

Not to be confused with tinctures that contain alcohol, CBD oil tinctures normally do not contain alcohol. Instead CBD oil is mixed with a carrier oil such as hemp and MCT, as well as flavors and sometimes added terpenes. Another use for tinctures is to be mixed with other topical products to help deliver CBD directly where needed.

How does CBD Benefit the skin?

When applied topically to the skin, the most immediately recognizable effect is that it is rich in essential fatty acids, which assists in maintaining healthy, youthful, and glowing skin. It is also superior in helping to reduce the appearance of pore size, protecting the skin’s appearance from the damaging effects of aging and maintaining a soft, smooth and youthful look and feel.

How Do I Use your Products?

The recommended daily serving of CBD is 30-60mg, but please remember individual results may vary and you may require a different serving size depending on a multitude of factors. For best results, it is recommended that you start with 5-10 mg of CBD, wait 3-4 hours, and increase as necessary to achieve desired effects. For individual recommendations on CBD servings size, check with your physician or healthcare provider. CBD Oil Tinctures Simply take your desired serving size and hold under the tongue for 10-20 seconds before swallowing. Get creative and add CBD oil to your favorite drinks! Adjust as needed. CBD Topicals Bring the benefits of CBD straight to your skin. Apply a liberal amount of product to desired area. CBD Vapes Simply inhale and enjoy as needed throughout the day. Can topical aplication od CBD Skin Care show up in a blodd test or get me high?

Our skin acts as a protective barrier. The molecules in THC are too big and can not be absorbed into the bloodstream through the skin. The cannabinoids bind to receptors in our skin, muscle tissue, and nerves, but get absorbed before they could permeate through our skin into the bloodstream. THC only gets users high when it reaches our brains, something it cannot do through the surface of the skin.
